Piri Technologies hosts the worlds only robotic CT scanner that is integrated with a high temperature/pressure, three-phase core flooding system. This system is one of a kind, allowing up to seven (7) core flooding experiments to be carried out simultaneously. Here are the key features:
- Scanner consists of two robotic arms: one carrying a source and one carrying a detector
- Capable of scanning cores that are 1-1.5 inches in diameter and 1-12 inches in length
- The system can be integrated with a vertical positioning system to scan extra-long core samples
- Capable of mapping heterogeneity of up to four core samples in three dimensions simultaneously
- Designed for integration with four high-pressure and high-temperature core-flooding systems for in-situ saturation measurements
- Variable source and detector distances
- Generates images with a resolution of 180 µm
